Some neat photots in there. As far as number 13 though, that guy probably has no idea what that word says. Probably seen the mag though.

Ironically the first AK-47 is really an RPK... but whatever.

Whats the real difference between an AK and A RPK...

I've never shot one, but held one or two at gun shows... The only thingsi can think of would be longer thicker barrel, maybe heavier receiver...

Action and furniture took pretty close, both are usually champered for 7.62x39... But I'm sure there are variations of both...

I was going to say the east german pistol grip with the wrong buttstock. Didn't even notice the playboy sling next to his Koran. Nice...

Isn't that a 40 round mag?

They are very similar. The Russians have a whole family of weapons based on the Kalashnikov action. The RPK is one of the few true SAW's out there. It's essentially a beefed up AK intended to be able to withstand full auto fire better. Semi auto versions can be accurate but otherwise they're noticeably heavier than an AK and without the benefit of full auto I'm not sure there's much point to one beyond collector interest. The Veprs were based on the RPK and were great examples of Kalashnikov type rifles.

It sure looks like it to me and you can see it has the stock too.
